What is the difference between A Healing Place and Healing Oasis of the Soul?
While both share the same philosophy of holistic, culturally-influenced wellness, A Healing Place focuses on paid services and workshops, while Healing Oasis of the Soul is dedicated to donation-based spiritual growth, meditation, and energetic alignment.
Do I need a referral to book a session?
No. Referrals are not necessary. We welcome anyone seeking peace, healing, or personal growth. However, if you are working with a doctor for specific health issues, we recommend that you notify your primary physician that you are working with our practitioners, as well, as a precaution.
Where are you located?
Inside A Healing Place is South San Jose, aka Blossom Valley/Almaden Valley
841 Blossom Hill Road Suite 112A San Jose, CA 95123
We are inside the medical building on the corner of Blossom Hill and Thornwood, easily accessible via Santa Teresa Boulevard, off highways 85 & 87. Parking is in the rear; entry to the building is, too. We are on the bottom floor, center of the building, down the breezeway, near the elevator and bike racks.
What kind of therapies do you offer?
We provide a wide range of services including:
Therapeutic Art, Energy Work, Acupuncture, Yoga, Gi Gong, Hypnosis, a Caregiver Support Group and more.
Are the sessions held in person or virtually?
Each teacher is open to offering classes both in-person and via Zoom. However, intensive retreats and certain hands-on therapies are best experienced in person at our sanctuary.
How long is a typical session?
Standard sessions last 60 minutes. Initial consultations or deep-dive spiritual workshops may range from 90-minutes to 3-hours.
What should I wear or bring to my first appointment?
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. If you are visiting for a meditation or energy session, feel free to bring a journal, yoga mat, pillow and blanket. We have a few mats, as well as water, tea, and light snacks.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes. To respect our practitioners' time and resources, we require 24-hour notice for all cancellations. Late cancellations or "no-shows" may be subject to a fee.
Is this a religious organization?
No. We are a spiritual and cultural wellness-focused center. We honor all paths and backgrounds. Our goal is to provide a safe space for individuals to connect with their own inner healing, regardless of their specific faith or belief system.
Is my information kept confidential?
Absolutely. Your privacy is our highest priority. All sessions are strictly confidential.
Welcome to Your Journey of Restoration
We are so glad you’ve found your way here, a safe space designed entirely for your well-being.
Taking the first step toward healing is often the bravest part of the journey. Our mission is not to "fix" you, but to provide the tools, environment, and compassionate guidance you need to rediscover your own innate strength and peace.
What to Expect: Your First Visit
We want your experience to be as seamless and stress-free as possible. Here is a glimpse into what your first day with us will look like:
1. The Arrival
When you step through our doors, you’ll feel like you have been transported “somewhere else.” Our studio is nearly wall-to-wall plants – a safe space to take a deep breath. Please arrive up to 15 minutes early to allow for parking and finding our little healing cocoon, as well as settle in, enjoy a cup of herbal tea, and complete any paperwork.
2. The Connection
Your practitioner will greet you and seek to understand your story, current challenges, and goals for the future.
3. The Path Forward
Before you leave, we will discuss a personalized "Path of Care." This isn't a rigid plan, but a flexible map that might include weekly sessions, monthly energy work, or specific workshops that align with your needs.
4. No Judgment, Only Space
There is no "right way" to feel during your visit. Whether you feel a sense of relief, a release of emotion, or simply a quiet stillness, know that you are in a safe, non-judgmental container.
Tips for Your Visit
* Disconnect to Reconnect: We kindly ask that you silence your mobile devices to preserve the tranquility of the space.
* Hydrate: Healing work— physical, emotional, and energetic—can be taxing on the body. We encourage you to drink plenty of water before and after your session.
* Come as You Are: You don't need to be "okay" or "put together" when you arrive. Bring your whole self—the tired parts, the hopeful parts, and everything in between.
We are honored to walk beside you on this path.
With light and warmth,
The Team at A Healing Place & Healing Oasis of the Soul
